Going into this course, I was really unsure of what to expect. In our church context, we have talked about the need to mobilize female leaders for quite some time but had no idea how to do that. This course gave me the necessary information to be able to engage that topic in a practical yet meaningful way. As a white male, I was oblivious to a lot of the ways in which women are prevented from leading, sometimes in unintentional ways, sometimes in subtle, insidious ways. My eyes were opened (at least in part) to the challenges that my sisters face in leadership that never would have entered my frame of reference. The content is engaging and motivating. I would highly recommend this course to anyone (male or female) who is serious about doing the hard work of mobilizing female leaders.

Ericka Henry led this course in a way that allows each participant (Female or Male) to see how society, ministry have named us something that God never intended us to be named, that God has plans for the gifting He has given to each of us and we need to learn how to be strong and confident in who we are. This course also helps to get rid of stereotypes and allows us to encourage one another to all God wants us to be.
